Our group class is an introduction to music where toddlers learn songs from a CD and follow along with motions. Most students range in age from 2-4. They meet once a week for a 45 minute lesson and the classes last for 10 weeks It is a wonderful opportunity for pre-schoolers to experience an informal class setting. Most parents or caregivers participate in the class as well. These students learn to use not only the piano but also other percussion instruments to follow along to the rhythm of the songs they are learning. Little Mozarts teaches musical note sounds ranging from high to low with the adorable characters Mozart Mouse and Beethoven Bear. A required packet of materials is available for sale including the instruction CD, lesson books, and plushable toys, etc. Students who start with this group class often then move on to the private Little Mozarts program. The Little Mozart private class is also offered in Weston Florida. This beginner piano lesson can be for just one student for a half hour once a week or the semi-private option for 2 students taking the private class together for 45 minutes once a week. The private class has a curriculum more focused on the introduction to the piano. Most students range in age from 4-6. By 7 years of age, students are then old enough, and read well enough to follow the lyrics, and move on to our regular piano curriculums. Little Mozart private classes have 3 levels of instruction with corresponding lessons as well as workbooks. A smaller packet of Little Mozarts materials is also available for sale to enhance these private lessons, but it is not required.
